I thought I would share with you all my everyday skincare routine. I absolutely love taking my make up off at the end of the day and having that fresh feeling. I am obsessed with make up also but that’s a whole other blog haha!
So firstly I take my eye make up off with the Nivea double effect eye make up remover ( this was also mentioned in my favourites blog) still loving this and need to repurchase asap! So gentle on my eyes, no need for rubbing with a cotton pad to get that stubborn waterproof mascara off!
Next I use the Garnier Micellar cleansing water. I soak two cotton pads with this and sweep it all over my face to take off the majority of my make up before using the Lancôme gel éclat all over my face, I massage this in all over my face, concentrating on my t-zone as this is where I put the most make up products. I love the smell of this and my skin feels so clean after! I remove this with a cotton Muslin ( I use my Liz Earle Muslin). You can splash your face with water but I can’t stand doing this for some reason.
Next I tone my face with the No7 soft and soothed gentle toner. Like it says on the bottle it is very gentle on the skin, other toners I find too harsh and drying on my skin.
If I am feeing like I need a deeper clean I will use the Tea tree and with hazel with charcoal face mask and I leave this on for around 15 minutes, normally alongside a hair mask, then again wipe this off with a flannel.
I am just after a moisturising mask I use the Lancôme hydra intense I absolutely love this especially when i have used an exfoliater in my routine ( which I have currently ran out off) I use quite a lot of this product and leave it to sit on my face for about 10 minutes then wipe off with cotton pads, do not need water to remove this. After you use this product you don’t use a moisturiser.
The moisturiser I would normally use after these steps is the Dior Hydra action visible defence this product is very thick and creamy, ideal for my skin as it’s quite dry so I wouldn’t recommend if you have oily skin! I massage this all over my face and let it sink in for a couple of minutes. Next I use the Loreal skin perfection eye cream I only use a small amount of this and it’s apparently meant to make your eyes look more awake with a colour correcter, this product does the job but leaves like a film under your eyes which is strange but it does hydrate so that’s all I’m after at night 🙂
And finally I use my Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream on my lips and any dry areas I can see 🙂 couldn’t go to bed with out this on my lips! I hope you enjoyed reading about my skincare routine, i didn’t realise how many products I use until now haha! In the mornings I use the same products just skip the masks and eye make up remover bit :).
